I don’t disagree completely, but I don’t think you have to be really good looking to get a lot of matches. Have you ever sat beside a girl as she swiped? 90%+ of guys profiles are absolute trash — blurry photos, only selfies, terrible angles, only one picture, can’t even see their face. It’s honestly terrible. It really doesn’t take that much work to be in the top tier of profiles and get plenty of matches. Put some work into good pictures, and you’ll have plenty of matches.

Of course, approaching in real life is good too. It doesn’t have to be an either or situation.
